The Mustang Challenge, ( http://www.themustangchallenge.com/ ) ended its first season on 12/1/07 at Moroso Motorsports Park.  After some startup challenges of their own, the Mustang Challenge has become one of the fastest and most successful racing events in South Florida.

Started by Ronnie Sanchez and Louis Lay  in January 2007, the Mustang Challenge provides a safe, friendly, family environment for supervised and legal drag racing for all Mustang enthusiasts. The event is centered on bracket racing, which gives all Mustangs drivers an even chance against any other Mustang no matter what the modifications and horsepower may be.  A V6 Mustang can win the Challenge even against full-out race Mustangs.  This makes it fun and fair for all those involved.  There are winners for each event and points are kept throughout the season and a winner for the current season is announced after the last race.
