Ben Launerts is a 42 year old professional whose own birth date literally coincides with the birth of what he considers to be one of the greatest name plates of any automobile every produced. Ben’s passion began back in Australia in 1970 when he was only 5 years old and his Father had imported a Shelby Mustang (white with blue stripes) and had it converted to right hand drive. That prancing pony never left his mind and since then Ben has owned no less than eight Mustangs of various “generations”. Ben’s current ride is a 93 SVT Cobra which Ben shows, road races on occasion, and he competes regularly in the Mustang Challenge race series in South Florida. Ben is also a moderator on South Florida Stangs where he regularly interacts with over 2,000 fellow enthusiasts.
Bill has been involved with cars both racing and restoring for over 40 years. His love of cars has taken him through all brands, all makes and for the last 10 years has been involved in the Mustang Community both in amateur racing and show cars. His background includes a long career in the software business, video production and editing, Management and Strategic planning. By joining Mustang Generations he has added his vast experience and knowledge that has come from years of participating in many aspects of the automotive enthusiasts passion and love of cars. Currently Bill is driving a 2003 SVT Cobra. |
